I offer saltwater fly fishing along the Texas and Louisiana coast primarily targeting redfish in shallow water.
I fish from an East Cape Fury poling skiff with one or two anglers aboard. My home water is the Galveston Bay complex and I fish this area throughout the spring, summer and fall. During the winter months, I shift over to the marshes of Louisiana to chase the oversized bull reds that come inshore during that time of year.
Trips to the middle coast of Texas (Matagorda and Port O'Connor) can also be arranged. Tarpon, king mackerel, spanish mackerel, jack crevalle and sharks are also available on the beachfront when conditions allow.

Capt. Scott had a ton of patience with this beginner fly angler. He's easily taken years off my learning curve, and he did it without the elitist attitude I've encountered from some other fly-only guides. What I like most about Scott is that he actually tries to TEACH his clients how to locate and catch fish. I've applied what I've learned from him in my own fishing, and it's helped me catch more fish.
I've also been out with other guides who seemed more interested in catching fish themselves than trying to put their clients on fish. That's not the case at all with Scott.

My dad and I had the privilege to fish with Capt. Scott Null 2 months ago in Grand Isle, Louisiana. Throughout the weekend we caught plenty of large bull reds and my first 35 LB black drum on the fly! Overall, it was an unbelievable experience and I will be back to fish with him next winter.
