I started fishing Patagonian Rivers and lakes at a very young age with my Dad. I caught my first fish when I was six and since then I have been hooked to what I call “the fishing disease“.
That disease made me overextend my fishing activities all year around, so when the trout season ends, I start “Chasing Gold” fishing for one of the most braves, strongest, acrobatic and beautiful freshwater species, our native and national fish.....the Golden Dorado.
My fly fishing passion drives me to different countries and every water was an unforgettable experience. I love fishing in freshwater as in saltwater, from Tierra del Fuego and North Patagonia to all of Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Venezuela, Mexi

I am a certified fishing guide, certified rafting guide, boat captain, first aid & CPR training certified, fly cast instructor and for the last twenty-five years I have been a fly fishing guide .
I was Former President of the North Patagonian Association of Professional Fishing Guides (2002-2007). I have been named President of the Sport Fishing Bureau by the state of Río Negro, one of the 6 Patagonian provinces in Argentina (2002-2005). This Bureau is in charge of the policies regarding protection, use of resources, research and rules of the sport fishing in the province.
I contributed on different publications, local magazines (Weekend, Aire Libre, Gente, Vida Salvaje, and tourist brochures), books Fly Fishing Patagonia the Lake District by J.P. Reynal , Fly Fishing Patagonia the South by J.P. Reynal, The Best Rivers by Francisco Bedeschi, American publications Fly Tying Journal, Fly Fishermen Magazine, Outside, Texas Sporting Journal, and newspapers The Orange County (California), The Observer ( Rhode Island), The San Antonio Express (Texas), and The New York Times.
I contributed also on some TV shows, Pescavision, Fly Cast Argentina, Fly Cast Latinoamérica, Patagonia Aventura y Naturaleza, El Espejo in Argentina and for ESPN, OLN, Fly Fishing Video Magazine and LL Bean Outdoor Show in the States.
I participated on fly fishing conclaves, and fishing resources management congress also.

Comencé a pescar en los ríos de la Patagonia desde muy chico con mi padre.
Cobré mi primer captura a los seis años, desde entonces el atrapado fui yo, por lo que llamo la “enfermedad de la pesca”. Esta enfermedad me hizo extender mis actividades pesqueras a todo el año, por eso cuando la temporada de pesca de salmónidos termina, comienza mi “fiebre de oro” llevándome a las aguas del Litoral Argentino, en busca del predador más voraz, fuerte, acrobático y bello de agua dulce, nuestro tesoro y pez nacional, el DORADO.
Mi pasión por la pesca me llevó a diferentes lugares, amo pescar tanto en agua dulce como en agua salada, desde Tierra del Fuego y toda la Patagonia, al resto de la Argentina, Chile, Brasil, Venezuela, Mexico, Cuba y los Estados Unidos.
Soy guía de pesca certificado, poseo licencias de Guia de Rafting, Botero, Guia de Pesca y Timonel, entrenamiento certificado en RCP y Primeros Auxilios, Instructor de Fly Cast y desde hace veinticinco años me desempeño como guía profesional de pesca con mosca.
Ex Presidente de la Asociación de Guías Profesionales de Pesca del Parque Nacional Nahuel Huapi y Patagonia Norte ( 2002-2007).
Ex Presidente de la Mesa Consultiva de Pesca Continental Deportiva de la Patagonia y representante de la provincia de Río Negro (2002-2005).
Ex Presidente de la Mesa Honoraria de Pesca Deportiva Zona Andina (2002-2005).
