The Restigouche River Lodge offers over three miles of private, exclusive water that also expands to five miles for much of the season. You will be fishing the first holding water on the Restigouche River, water that has always been unavailable to the public and fished by only a chosen few till now. The RRL’s stretch of the Restigouche River offers the finniest spey water in eastern Canada, a casters delight with runs hundreds of yards in length. The wading conditions are exhalent in many of our fine gravel pools. You can also fish from our 26 ft. motor powered canoes, a Gaspe` tradition. The Restigouche River is world renowned for the size of her Atlantic salmon and you will be fishing over Atlantic’s fresh from the salt seeing their first flies. Many of our guests land their best Atlantic salmon with fish in the high twenty and thirty pound range. Fall fishing is also enhanced with salmon dropping back down river to our holding pools adding to the population of our resident fish.

Restigouche River Lodge accommodates up to ten guests in two camp cottages. The two and three bedroom cottages feature private baths for double occupancy rooms and an opening living area. At the main lodge you will enjoy our fine cuisine expertly prepared daily with the freshest ingredients by Chef Lana and you will delight in her deserts. Enjoy a cocktail (the RRL is bring your own and we provide all the mixers) by the stone fire place or relax on the screened veranda which overlooks Home Pool with a spectacular view up river. Roam the lodge’s grounds and gardens, pitch some horseshoes or dream into tranquility by the fire pit twenty five feet above the river.
