The fishing area has great potential and diversity of situations to search the permit, the guides are experienced and good treatment.

I have fished all over the world with many different guides. The guides at Belcampo are among the best I have fished with. The fishing was very good and I caught Tarpon, snook and permit on all three of my trips. We found tarpon and snook in all the 3 major rivers in the area and of course the ever present jacks. I look forward to my next trip.

Belcampo lodge delivers a world class experience on every level.
As an angler, my primary concern is quality fishing. My expectations were met and exceeded with daily shots at permit and tarpon. The fly fishing guides are consummate professionals who's passion for their local waters is contagious.
In addition to the fishing, I also enjoyed the land based tour of the Lubaatun Maya ruins led by Belcampo guide, Chan, who was a wealth of information. This was my first visit to a Maya site. An experience I'll long remember.
Any review of Belcampo Lodge would not be complete without a few words on the food and accommodations. Suffice it to say that it's uniquely world class. From the farm fresh food to the well appointed suites enshrouded by jungle canopy: every aspect of my stay was perfect and the staff made me feel right at home.
Don't forget to visit the Rum Bar, where fresh ingredients and local rums are combined to create incredible cocktails. The perfect way to cap off a great day of fishing.
