Jan Haman

Born in the Giant Mountains of Bohemia, grew up in western Germany since early childhood, and hunted big game with bow & arrow in Alaska and Montana from his ignorant early youth.

Accomplished the gun-engravers technical college for gunsmiths in Ferlach, Austria, and went back to bowhuntig for big game around the world. Picked up fly-fishing along the way during his years of business in England and Scotland.
Built up the distribution of fishing tackle in the Czech Republic on behalf of HARDY & GREYS, PARTRIDGE, SHAKESPEARE, and SNOWBEE.

Became a novice bullfighter in Sevilla, Andalucia, and still visits the bullfighting school regularly as a "Novillero" and works on his masters degree to become a fully professional "Matador de Toros" in Sevilla, Spain.
Guiding fishermen in Mong View more...olia professionally since 2006 on behalf of his own company CORCON CRAFT Ltd., after many years of his own fishing and hunting during the pioneer times in Mongolia.

Lives in south-western Germany during the winter months, working on paintings and short stories of his own, and enjoyes spanish red wine and robusto cigars, the study of Russian and American literature in his spare time, and exercises longbow archery and double-handed casting every morning.

Spends the spring season and the autumn season with serious guiding of fishermen-clients in Mongolia, - 3 months in total -, and practices bullfighting during the short dangerous summer in between. For the rest of the year he may be found along wild rivers in Norway, Russia, and Siberia, following his passion for fly-fishing of large Taimen, Atlantic Salmon, and Sea Trout, - and for the exploration of new hunting grounds never fished before ...
