After missing a couple of double figure browns early in the season we decided to go out on a "trophy hunt" we went to some water that showed promise last season with one double figure female to the net and another really good sized male. We ventured up the other branch to explore some water we had not made it to last season, after a bit of walking we spotted a likely pool and found a beast of brown cruising.
After watching for a while there was only one likely position at the head of the pool to make a cast that would count. We waited for the fish to make a turn I then got in position and made a cast that just lead the fish which resulted in a hookup...............next minute trophy to the net!
