In my opinion those that are passionate about this sport find themselves exposed to a bond with a series of natural elements that are essential to its subjectiveness.
I’m speaking of the river, the wind, the silence, of time as a natural state, which all subtly blends in thought and meditation. This is the essence and identity of the fly fisherman. Since the beginning of history he has developed, faced with these variables, a spirit of patience and attention in an atmosphere of a defined limit: the floating tension of the river.
What the river gives back to us is not just the experience or luck of having caught a fish, but the immediate answer as to the fly fishermans identity.
For this reason the guide must be adept at sharing his knowledge, transmitting everything that is related to  View more...fishing and the surroundings where this activity takes place. But a good guide goes beyond giving a mere description of the rivers, where, when and what fly to use. He must be sensitive to his client and his needs, guiding him along that special universe with the spirit necessary for his identity to flow and integrate itself with the place and the moment he finds himself.

En mi opinión, todo aquel que desarrolla con pasión esta actividad, se ve expuesto al vínculo con una serie de elementos naturales que le son esenciales para su subjetividad.
Hablo del río, del viento, del silencio, del tiempo en un estado natural, que sutilmente se aglomeran con el pensamiento y la meditación. Esa es la esencia y la identidad del pescador, que desde la historia del hombre ha desarrollado frente a estas variables un espíritu basado en la paciencia, en la espera, la atención, que se dan frente a un límite, la tensión flotante del río.Lo que nos devuelve el río no es simplemente la experiencia o la suerte del acecho de una presa, sino la respuesta inmediata a la identidad del pescador.
Por estos motivos el guía debe ser hábil a poder comunicar su conocimiento, transmitir todo aquello que esta relacionado directamente con la pesca y el entorno donde se realiza dicha actividad. Pero un buen guía va más allá de la descripción de los ríos en el cual se pesca; cómo, cuándo, y qué mosca usar. Debe ser sensible y escoltar a su compañero en ese universo especial con el espíritu necesario para que su identidad fluya y se integre, se fusione con el entorno del lugar.
