Ribnica river originates from two karst springs. More than half of the riverbed winds its way through the unspoiled and wild nature without settlements. It's typical chalk stream which is inhabited by many aquatic organisms such as larvae, gamarusi and flies. Due to the abundance of food you can catch a trophy-sized brown trout, rainbow trout, grayling, pike and chub.
